Just few meters from the Gherkin it is possible to find
this amazing and surreal architecture designed by R. Rogers.
The prospective seems to be part of a futuristic ambient made up by tubes and external glass lifts which projects all the passengers in a suggestive dimension!
All the Lloyd's building structure appears to be left visible as a characteristic of other Rogers's designed buildings (just remembering about the Centre Pompidou in Paris!); this gives to the complex a correspondence to an extraction platform...and to have it in the middle of the City it's a quite impressive and peculiar thing!
An other space built up by Rogers in London is the Millennium Dome.
